Delayed Payment Penalty
On all accounts not paid in full when due, ten percent (10%) will be added to the net current amount unpaid. This delayed payment penalty is not interest and is to be collected only once for each bill where it is appropriate.
Tap Fee
Current tap fee of $500.00, or the actual cost of the connection (solely determined by the District), whichever is greater, will be charged to all customers who apply for service for each new tap to the system.
Disconnect / Reconnect / Administrative Fees
Whenever water service has been disconnected for non-payment of sewer bills in conjunction with a water service termination agreement with WVAWC, a disconnection fee of $25.00 shall be charged.
Whenever water service, which has been previously disconnected or otherwise withheld for non-payment of a sewer bill in conjunction with a water service termination agreement with WVAWC is reconnected, a fee of $25.00 shall be charged.
Incremental Leak Adjustments
Adjustments that meet the eligible requirements are calculated at a rate of $0.73 per cubic feet.
Returned Check Charge
A service charge equal to the actual bank fee, up to a maximum of $25.00 will be charged to the customer for all returned checks due to insufficient funds.

If your payment is overdue, and your service is about to be terminated, you must contact the office staff when making a payment to avoid interruption of service. In the case that your service has already been terminated you must contact the office staff with payment including termination fees for your service to be restored.

Minimum Charge - Water Users
No bill will be rendered no less than $24.48 per month, which is the equivalent of 2000 gallons per month.
